COMPANY HISTORY
Macco Organiques Inc. was formed in 1986 to acquire the assets of a long-standing chemical manufacturing company in Valleyfield (Quebec) producing propionates, benzoates and acetates. Since then, Macco has increased capacity many times and focused on serving the Food and Pharmaceutical Industry.
In 1988, Macco developed a revolutionary technology to dry and process all ingredients into a dust-free powder form that remains free flowing without caking or clumping for extended periods of time.
Macco has received worldwide recognition for producing only high quality dust free products with this unique technology. Macco is ISO 9001 registered and GFSI FSCC - 22000 certified.
In April 2004 Macco acquired the pharmaceutical products facilities of Osram in the Czech Republic and renamed the operations Macco Organiques s.r.o. The plant produces USP, EP and JP pharmaceutical grade calcium chloride and magnesium chloride.
